Thank you for this thoughtful article, Elle. Your son sounds like my son, who is now in his forties. I also resisted labeling my son and some others did not like his active spirit. He has made a living with this spirit, as a snowboarder, river rafting guide and now owns his own martial arts school. Never lose faith in your son. You know him the best.
