Ah, Canada, a civilized country! If I understand it correctly, most if not all of these programs are pilots, which can target specific populations. Like you, I would hope that the roll-out would be easy to administer and for everyone. In the US, we have a Child Tax Credit that was expanded for the pandemic and pays $250 or $300 a month per child depending on age. Bad news is that it’s only being expanded for one more year.
